lighting
lighting is probably the most important thing in a picture because lighting is all about how the image will turn out if you will be able to see it or not because if you have to much lighting then your picture will turn out too bright and too white however if you dont have enough lighting then you will either not be able to see the picture that you took or it will be too black. On a digital camera, this can be changed in the settings. On a film camera, this is determined by the kind of film you use.
Digital photographs can be manipulated to make them black and white after they have been taken. Find out more about manipulating images in the Using ICT section.
Lighting
Since photography is all about light it is important that you get this right. At times it may be necessary to use artificial lighting (such as flash or spot lights) to have more control over the end result.
How you light a subject can have a dramatic effect on the final image, so think carefully and experiment with lighting.
Most cameras have a light meter in them to help you with the exposure settings required for the conditions. This will help you avoid under or over exposing the image. Under exposing and over exposing can, however, also be a desired effect.
